Drawer Pull & Pants Hanger into DIY Photo Display at Craftynest

Craftynest, written by Monica, features plenty of fresh ideas to make your nest more fun and useful.

One of Monica’s projects uses a pants hanger and drawer pull to give hanging wall photos a unique vintage look.

Unique Beer Trivet

bottlecap-trivet-red.jpg

Cyndi at Cooking Gadgets posted about the bottle cap coasters made by rettocamme (available via Etsy).

So, I had to visit their shop, of course.

Turns out, Rettocame also delivers some eco-friendly trivets from repurposed beer caps.

The trivets are backed with cork to protect surfaces. These coasters and trivets would be nice conversation starters at parties, perhaps? Would you use them?

The proceeds from sales benefit rettocamme dance performances.

The 2009 Calendar You Can Pop

bubble_wrap_calendar.jpgCalling all bubble wrap poppers

If you have the wall space, this may be your calendar.

Handmade in Brooklyn, the Bubble Calendar is available in three different languages!

The bubble wrap love is crossing borders.

This creation names holidays. And weekends are in bold. And, of course, the main feature is inflated bubbles you may mash to loudness to mark the passing of each day.

Where would you hang the Bubble Calendar?

I can see it bringing some life to office walls, or perhaps in a teenager’s room.
